Off the Rails

I have not been following through with my own personal goal of a weekly blog. Ming you, it's not for the lack of anything to say each week, but my financially supporting job has been bringing me down emotionally. I like this job very much, and I find much satisfaction from it. However, it does give me a fair amount of stress and a very small amount of praise, which compounds over time. I'll admit that I feel depressed, and I'm consistently feeling as if I have a fifteen-pound ball on my chest. I did have a chance to talk with someone, but time was not on my side.

I finished the Cyber-Monkey about two-three weeks ago, with little to no fanfare. My brother and I decided to have the camera pan around the Cyber-Monkey as he notices the camera. The Cyber-Monkey scratches his chest and then gives the camera the finger. Because of my skills and inexperience, his hand and finger look slightly deformed. Hopefully, when I have the time I might try to fix it. In addition, I created a stand-alone pose. I did create another one where the Cyber-Monkey is hanging from a rafter and hacking a server. This was packaged it up and sent it off to a friend, so he can redo the materials and lighting.

The Scarecrow I started turned out pretty well. I wanted to do more, but I got to a point where there wasn't much left to do.

The next project I want to do will be a Surburban Cul-De-Sac. I've already sketched out where everything goes, but I'm trying to determine the story I want to tell.
